When you walk into Alapash, you may feel overcome with the irresistible urge to purchase everything in sight, simply because everything is so beautifully and artfully arranged. And when you meet Marco, the shop owner, you may never want to leave. What's most wonderful about this shop is that Marco enjoys collaborating with a variety of artists, giving it an even more authentic feel. Everything in here seems to have a story, and these pieces are versatile enough to fit into a number of different styles. If you're in the Chicago area, you ought to stop by!
I'm very excited to announce that I'll be guest pinning for Alt covering accessories, prints and art for your walls! It has been a fun venture so far, and today I thought I'd share some wallpapers I'm really digging right now. I'm still a renter, and although I'm allowed to paint, I don't think my landlord would be too keen on having wallpaper. But it's fun to dream, right? It might be fun to buy just a few feet of wallpaper and apply it to some large plywood boards for a different kind of (nonpermanent) statement in your room. These adhesive wall patterns by Mur are completely doable for anyone who rents! Not only are they removable, but they're also customizable! So you can create any kind of pattern and color to your heart's content. There is a large wall in my dining room that is just dying for some sweet decor and this just may be the answer. And of course this Paeonia wallpaper from Anthropologie is a delightful option as well.
Be sure to head on over to the board here to keep up with all the other fun wall accessories I'm pinning!
How awesome is this home?! I love all the colors of Isabelle Tuchband's house and studio. Wouldn't you love to put on some great music and paint all day inside all those windows and bright light? I love all the colors she uses to tie her home together, it's so inviting and enticing.
